SlimSAS Semi-Automatic Testing System Product Description SlimSAS, also known as SAS slimline, is a member of the SAS internal connection family (SAS, SAS MutiLink, Mini SAS 4i, Mini SAS HD 4i, Mini SAS HD 8i, SlimSAS 4i, SlimSAS 8i, SAS MiniLink 4i, SAS MiniLink 8i). SlimSAS is a next-generation ultra-high-speed connection solution for servers and mass storage devices, with a single-channel speed of up to 22.5 Gbps. It is adopted by the next generation SAS-4 and supports SAS 1.0 (first generation, G1 = 1.5Gbps/ G2 = 3Gbps), SAS 2.1 (G3 = 6Gbps), SAS 3.0 (G4 = 12Gbps), and SAS 4.0 (G5 = 22.5Gbps) transmission rates. SlimSAS Interface Applications: 1. Disk arrays 2. Cloud storage 3. High-speed data exchange Jiaye Technology has developed a dedicated test fixture for SlimSAS 4i/8i cables that supports SAS-4. Several types are available: 4i-100Ω, 8i-100Ω, 4i-85Ω, and 8i-85Ω. Semi-automatic and fully automatic fixtures are available based on customer needs.
